Nittan Valves setting up a Rs100 crore factory at Sri City SEZ near Nellore

Nittan Valve Co Ltd, the Japanese auto component maker, is setting up its first Indian manufacturing facility at the Sri City SEZ near Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. Nittan makes valves and other auto parts for Yamaha, Honda and other vehicle makers. It is investing Rs 100 crore to set up the facility in a seven acre plot in Sri City SEZ.

Nittan’s valve factory in India is expected to start commercial production by July 2014. Nittan established the Indian subsidiary Nittan India Tech Pvt. Ltd. in Mar 2013 to setup the valve manufacturing base in India.
