Nellore district which has become a major industrial seat of east coast with host of industries is all set to take lead in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity as well. Towards a smarter Nellore

Nellore is the 4th largest city in the recently reorganized state of Andhra Pradesh after Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati. The city has a population of 600,000 people. The cash strapped Nellore municipal corporation’s mayor Sk. Abdul Aziz is looking at leveraging the recently announced Smart Ward scheme of the state in seeking support from city’s industrialists and businessmen who have settled elsewhere.
