People from all walks of life had participated enthusiastically in Nellore 5k run which was organized by Nellore Runners Foundation, a non-profit organization.
The run was flagged of by District Collector M.Janaki in the presence of district level officials, from CVR foundation, Krishnapatnam port and other organizations.

Youth from different colleges are happy to participate in this event, and they are very eager to take part in more such events.Krishnampatnam Port chief executive officer Y.Anil said that such events would have a good impact on the people as they would have a feeling of togetherness and unity in the face of a common cause. He said that their organization was supporting programmes which have a good cause for the sake of promotion.Organizers and promoters have distributed uniforms for all the participants, and they promised to organize such events regularly.
