Mahatma Gandhi’s great grandson, Mr.Tushar Gandhi has visited Pinakini Satyagraha Ashram located at Pallipadu near Nellore.
In 1915, Gandhi has visited Nellore to take part in various activities which was conducted on May 4th and 5th. Satyagraha Ashram has arranged for the visit of Gandhi’s great grandson as part of centenary celebrations of Gandhij’is visit to Nellore.
Tushar Gandhis went round the ashram and enquired about the significance of the place in the context of freedom struggle. His visit was organised by the Ashram Trust along with Red Cross Society and Nellore Town Hall Committee.
