The Central Government has appointed senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officials with the task of attracting foreign investments for each state. These officials are trained in different aspects so that they can work on making India a global hub of investments.

In Andhra Pradesh the Central Government has identified three districts, Nellore, Chittoor and Visakhapatnam for foreign investments. The central team has visited Nellore and met Nellore district collector M.Janaki Devi who has explained the team about the land availability for industries and also about the Krishnapatnam port and the National highway connectivity. Joint collector M Intiyaz tool the team to different locations including the port as part of the field inspection.

The teams are initially visiting the different states and studying the field situation before starting their task.
