The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) is going to organise TANA Chaitanya Sravanthi in Nellore on December 18th , according to TANA president Mohan Nannapaneni.
TANA folk arts festival will be organised at Kasturi Devi Gardens , Nellore. Noted scholar Dr.Ravva Srihari will be presented the Gidugu Ramamurthi award during this event. Srihari brought out several dictionaries in Telugu. He has retired as the Vice-chancellor of Dravidian University. He is an eminent scholar in Telugu and Sanskrit.
According to TANA advisor committee chairman Mr Ravindra SannaReddy , the association wants to focus and encourage our culture, the best performed people may get a chance to perform at TANA celebrations at Detroit which is going to be held next year. TANA is looking forward that this event will encourage the prominent people from all the sections to adopt a village and develop it as a model village. These type of events will also help to build a network in bringing more investments. Folk artistes from across the state will perform during this festival. TANA leadership Team will be attending all these events and looks forward to every ones participation.
