Gayatri Projects Ltd (GPL), the parent company of Gayatri Energy Ventures, a major partner in NCC Power Projects, is considering to reduce its stake in NCC’s 1320 MW thermal power plant near Nellore.

Preliminary discussions are said to be on between NCC Infra and Sembcorp. Gayatri’s stake in the project is expected to go down to 45%, post sale, subject to a detailed technical, financial, commercial & legal due diligence.
