5000 km range Inter Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) from advanced countries have so far achieved accuracy within three-digit metres but Agni-V from India has achieved double-digit meters accuracy on April 19, 2012. Gundra  Satheesh Reddy, Technology Director (Navigation) for Agni-V is the man behind the navigation system which had very high level reliability.

Satheesh Reddy hails from Mahimalore village in Atmakur Mandal of SPSR Nellore district. Gundra Sitarami Reddy and Rangamma’s son had done the country proud. Satheesh Reddy has been involved in the navigation system of all the missiles developed by DRDO.
