Rs60 crore works being taken up in Nellore tourism projects

Nellore district administration is taking up tourism projects with a whopping Rs 60 crore to promote eco tourism spots and ancient temples in the district.

The projects covered include tourism resorts in Tummalapenta beach in Kavali mandal, Bheemulavaripalem near Pulicat lake and Velangani Matha Church near Kodur beach in TP Gudur mandal.

Other projects include Bhagavan Venkaiah Swamy Ashram in Golagamudi, Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Konda Bitragunta, Udayagiri Fort works in Udayagiri, Gandipalem waterfalls near Udayagiri, Irukalala Parameswari Ammavari temple in Nellore town, painting of Sri Talpagiri Ranganatha Swamy temple in Nellore town, and Tourism Information Centre near Jonnavada.
