PSLV C-32 launched successfully from SHAR, Nellore

ISRO has successfully put IRNSS-1F satellite into orbit on 10th March from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR), Sriharikota. The satellite was launched on-board Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV C-32). IRNSS-1F is the sixth dedicated navigation satellite under the Independent Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) concieved by ISRO.

IRNSS is designed to provide accurate geographical position information (GPS) to users in India and beyond extending up to 1,500 km from the border. The last satellite (IRNSS-1G) in the seven satellite series to complete the regional navigation system will be launched next month.
