Nellore 5k run scheduled for October 11

Nellore Runners Foundation, a non-profit organization which is dedicated to the cause of health and fitness, is organizing 5k run at Nellore which is scheduled for sunday October 11 at A.C.Subba Reddy Stadium. Smt.M.Janaki, Collector, Nellore District and Shri Anil Kumar – CEO, Krishnapatnam Port Company Ltd unveiled the official Medal and Race T-shirt of the event.

This is the first time, that a 5k run is going to be held at Nellore. Each participant will be given a RFID chip to measure their individual time. This run also promotes the environment, this year’s theme is Go Green, Nellore.

Cash prizes will be given to the top three finishers in different categories and each finisher will be given a medal and certificate of participation.

All the citizens of Nellore region are requested and encouraged to participate in the 5k run. The registrations for the event have been started.
