Digital library was launched by Cyient Foundation in Nellore school

To gain access to educational resources by underprivileged student the Cyient foundation has launched a digital library at Akshara Vidyala School.

Akshara Vidyalaya is run by Swarna Bharat Trust, Chennai-based non-profit organisation which was started 14 years back. This digital library is expected to benefit more than 900 students.

This library helps students with their classwork, and provides different types of educational materials in different formats which will be in interest of students.

This library has been named after former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam.

BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder and Trustee, Cyient Foundation said, “Digital formats are enabling democratisation of information, which India needs to embrace. Such technologies can benefit and uplift the bottom of the pyramid by providing access to information resources and repositories irrespective of users’ status or location.
