Pulicat & Nelapattu Bird Sanctuaries, Nellore: Paradise for migratory birds

Pulicat bird sanctuary is located in 500 sq kms of wetlands spanning Nellore (Andhra Pradesh) and Thiruvallur (Tamil Nadu) districts  in India. It is close to Sathish Dhavan Space Centre (SHAR) in Sriharikota. The sanctuary is famous for migratory birds like flamingo, pelican and others.
