Somasila Dam is one of the biggest irrigation projects in the SPSR Nellore district. It is constructed across the river Pennar and is situated near Somasila village of Ananthasagaram mandalam. The place is also known for its beautiful natural environs. Lord Someswara temple at the dam is well worth a visit.
