Tourist centre coming up on Thummalapenta sea coast

AP Tourism Dept is planning to develop, expand and sustain sea coast tourism infrastructure in Nellore district. As part of this, the Thummalapenta sea coast near Kavali is being developed as an attractive tourist centre. AP Tourism is seeking possession of 10 acre land earmarked for such purposes near the beach. The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has sanctioned Rs. 3.77 crore for developing this tourist centre of which the first instalment of Rs. 3.02 crore has already been released.
