The 200 bed tertiary care hospital of The Apollo Speciality Hospitals in Nellore, is ready for inauguration during the next visit of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The 2 lakh sft hospital, has come up at Pinakini Nagar, Muthukur Road, between Mini-bypass Road and the NH-5. Construction was completed sometime back and some services had already begun.
Almost all kinds of advanced surgeries and specialties will be made available in the Nellore hospital in over 30 specialties ranging from gastroenterology, neurology and gynaecology to cardiology and general surgery. Expert consultants from Chennai Apollo are making weekly visits to Nellore to perform high-end surgeries like knee replacement, bariatric, etc.
