Mrs. Syama Reddy, Chairman and President of Reddy Properties

Mrs. Syama Reddy from Nellore district received B.Sc. degree from S.V. University, and B.S. degree from Iowa State University, U.S.A. She serves as Chairman and President of Reddy Properties, a real estate holding company with properties in 10 states in U.S. and elsewhere in the world, and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the American Dairy and Food Consulting Laboratories, Inc. and International Media and Cultures Inc., of USA, which she owns along with her husband, Dr. M.S. Reddy. Syama and her husband Dr. M.S. Reddy started working together, right after college graduation, to build a massive U.S. and International business empire.

Syama Reddy received several national and international business awards. To name few: Entrepreneur of the year award in 2002; Mercurial Business Woman of the year in 2003 from IAFC at Washington, D.C.; Entrepreneur Leadership award in 2002, from “Asian Woman in Business” organization of U.S.A. Syama Reddy was the first person to receive this prestigious international award representing the entire Indian woman in the world; Elected as “NRI” of the year in 2003; Outstanding “NRI Woman” Award in 2005; She has received Hind Rattan Award from the Governor of Andhra-Pradesh, in 2005, at Hyderabad, India; International Entrepreneur of the year award in 2003; In 2006, she has received Bharath Gaurav Award at Delhi from the Prime Minister of India. She has served as Board of Director of ATA for over 12 years and she is currently the Board of Director of NATA.

Syama Reddy is an excellent administrator, and also outstanding at financial management. Her specialty is banking and worked with 100’s of U.S. and International banks. She serves as board of director for several companies and organizations. Syama Reddy has been recognized as a world class business leader and a great philanthropist, and strives hard to uplift the underprivileged. With all her achievements and worldwide recognition, she is humble and very well liked by everybody in the community.

She won the Lifetime Achievement Award in Business from the North American Telugu Association (NATA) – Convention 2012 – George Brown Convention Center, Houston – Texas.
