SHAR sports team has been declared the overall champion in the 1st phase of ISRO sports championships held in Sriharikota, Nellore. SHAR team won the cricket, women’s tennicoit and  men’s ball badminton matches while Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC )won women’s ball badminton and football matches. SHAR has been declared the overall championship with 36 points and VSSC stood in second place with 23 points.

2nd phase sports competitions will held from 27th to 30th December. Competitions in this phase include kabaddi, hockey, tennis and volleyball.
