“I believe the most wonderful gift is a book. Everybody should use New Year as an occasion to present books to dear ones,” says J. Kishore, a book-seller, who has been running a book store in city at Sunday Market. He is also organising week-long book exhibition at the busy Gandhi Bomma centre around this time for over 27 years.
Each year, Mr. Kishore would follow it as a mission to spread a message. The message is to gift books to friends and loved ones, as this would serve the purpose far better than any other thing in the world. He is content even if his campaign would inspire a single visitor to his book exhibition.
This year also, Mr. Kishore started his book exhibition at the same venue and it would continue up to January 1. It is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
